Sir Ian McKellen: Fight not over on gay rights

Actor Sir Ian McKellen has played a variety of amazing parts in his career, but one role he has always held dear in his personal life is as a gay rights campaigner.

He was a founding member of the Stonewall group, which promotes equality for gay people, and is attending this year's Manchester Pride parade.

He spoke to BBC Breakfast about the event and about the struggle for gay rights around the globe.
