Migrant crisis: Theresa May says refugees to arrive in UK 'in coming days'

The first of a pledged 20,000 Syrian refugees to be resettled in the UK are due to arrive "in the coming days", the Home Secretary has said.

In a statement to the Commons, Theresa May said that ministers were "working at speed" to prepare for more in the coming weeks.

Labour's Andy Burnham welcomed the move, but questioned whether more refugees should be accepted by the UK.
