Footage of D-Day landing craft being raised from Liverpool Docks

The LCT 7074 is the last survivor of the large fleet of landing craft which were built to transport British tanks to the beaches of France for the D-Day landings.

After WWII, she was taken to Liverpool where, at one point, she was used as a floating nightclub.

But now this particular landing craft is being restored.

LCT 7074 was raised from Liverpool Docks last year, as this time-lapse footage shows.
