D-Day 70th anniversary marked by Welsh veterans
Veterans from Wales have been in Normandy to mark the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
They were among around 2,000 surviving veterans who joined world leaders to honour the bravery of those involved.
After meeting some of the veterans, the First Minister Carwyn Jones said that we "owe them a debt of gratitude".
For many of the men, Friday's commemoration was seen as their last opportunity to remember their fallen colleagues on a such a large scale.
Abigail Neal has been in the town of Hermanville-sur-Mer in Normandy.
