Duncan Edwards statue re-dedicated in Dudley

A statue of footballer Duncan Edwards has been re-dedicated in his home town of Dudley, to mark what would have been his 79th birthday.

To many, Edwards was the finest young footballer of his generation. Sir Bobby Charlton said he was one of England's greatest players, ever.

The 21-year-old Edwards died along with other Manchester United team members in 1958 when the aeroplane that was carrying them from a match crashed in Munich.

The BBC's Phil Mackie reports.
