Tax credits: Osborne to 'press on' despite Lords defeat

Chancellor George Osborne says he will 'press on' with cuts to tax credit despite Tuesday's defeat in the House of Lords.

He said his government would deliver the welfare changes it was elected to do.

He promised "transitional help" for those most affected by the cuts to welfare
