Legal high addiction in prison has 'seven-fold' increase

The use of so-called legal highs in jail is "getting worse by the day" and is leading to an increased risk of violence and even deaths, the chief inspector of prisons has said.

Nick Hardwick says that there has been a seven-fold increase in the number of prisoners seeking help for addiction to legal highs within the last year alone.
