Balakrishnan: Cult leader guilty of sex assaults

A Maoist cult leader has been found guilty of imprisoning his own daughter for 30 years and raping two of his followers.

A jury at Southwark Crown Court heard that Aravindan Balakrishnan dominated their lives after forming a group dedicated to following the teachings of China's Chairman Mao in the 1970s.
