Britain's last deep coal mine Kellingly Colliery closes

Coal mining was at the heart of Britain's industrial revolution, an industry that once employed well over a million people.

But Friday will mark the end of deep cast coal mining in the UK, as Kellingly Colliery in Yorkshire closes its gates for the last time.
