Thousands volunteer to help homeless at Christmas

Christmas is meant to be a time of happiness and celebration, but for people who are homeless, it can be one of the hardest times of the year.

The charity Crisis has opened its special Christmas centres in England and Scotland where some 4,000 people are expected to turn up.

The BBC's Bryony Mackenzie went to West London to talk to some of the thousands of volunteers helping out this year.
