Homeless family's seven temporary homes in four years

Coach driver Dhiresh Kara, his wife and three daughters have lived in seven different homes since being evicted from their privately rented property in 2011.

New figures released by the government suggest that in September 2015 there were 68,560 households in England living in temporary accommodation - a 13% rise on the previous year.

Harrow council in London said it was doing the best job it could to "make sure these people have got a roof over their heads", adding that the situation "is destroying communities because people cannot put down roots".
