Storm Frank: Scotland rain sees major travel disruption

Hundreds of homes have been evacuated and thousands are without power after Storm Frank battered the UK with heavy rain and high winds.

Aberdeenshire, Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway bore the brunt of the severe weather which caused disruption to road, rail and ferry services across Scotland.

Two severe flood warnings, which mean danger to life, remain in place.
