Leaked Savile report 'a devastating document for the BBC'

A report into abuse carried out by Jimmy Savile at the BBC has been leaked.

The news website Exaro said it received a draft copy of the document, which identifies incidents of sexual assault by Savile on BBC property.

A spokesperson for Dame Janet Smith's review said the report was "out of date" and could not be relied upon.

Speaking to BBC Breakfast, Exaro editor-in-chief Mark Watts said the draft report was "a devastating document for the BBC".
