Actor Jason Watkins: Sepsis killed my daughter

Actor Jason Watkins, whose two-year-old daughter Maude died from sepsis in 2011, says there is still a huge lack of awareness around the illness.

He spoke to BBC Radio 5 live's Adrian Chiles about the loss of his daughter the impact it had on his family.

His comments follow the release of a report into the death of William Mead, a one-year-old from Cornwall.

NHS England said both call handlers and GPs had failed to diagnose that William had sepsis.
