NHS mental health funding falls in England - FoI figures

The BBC has uncovered new evidence of the financial pressures on NHS mental health care providers.

A Freedom of Information investigation found that, adjusting for inflation, the total income of mental health trusts in England fell by 2% in the financial year to April 2015.

The revelation comes ahead of a major report on mental health care in England, expected to be published on Monday.

Hugh Pym reports.
