A fake tanning disaster has turned one woman from Scarborough into a viral sensation.

Imogen Silversides applied fake tan with a paint roller after reading advice on social media.

She expected a smooth, even tan to appear but sadly she didn't get the outcome she wanted.

She told BBC 5 live's Peter Allen "I thought I would give it a try, because the lady I usually get it off, couldn’t do it. It didn’t actually turn out the colour I thought it would be."
