Ben Butler murder trial: Daughter 'killed after conviction quashed'

A father who was convicted of assaulting his six-week-old daughter, but whose conviction was then quashed, is now accused of killing her six years later.

Ellie Butler died from a "catastrophic" head injury allegedly inflicted by her father Ben at their home in south-west London.

He and Ellie's mother are accused of staging an elaborate cover-up to make it look like an accident.

Social affairs correspondent Alison Holt has been following the trial at the Old Bailey.
