Theresa May says domestic abuse victims 'let down' by police

Home secretary Theresa May says that many victims of domestic violence are being let down by police.

Speaking at the Police Federation conference she said many women were made to feel "they were making mountains out of molehills".

She said the police watchdog would investigate why laws to tackle domestic violence were underused.
