Remembrance Sunday: Knitted poppies decorate Thirsk

The North Yorkshire market town of Thirsk has been decorated with around 35,000 knitted poppies.

Started by 'Yarnbomber' street artists, poppies were sent from all over the world to help mark Armistice Day.

They are on display at Thirsk's St Mary's Church and run the length of the route of the town's Remembrance Day parade.
