Shifting sculptures: Dismantling a mother and child

They are the huge cartoon characters that have dominated a field at the Yorkshire Sculpture park for nearly a year.

This weekend, the last of graffiti artist Kaws' sculptures will be dismantled ahead of a restoration programme at the gallery where they were constructed in Belgium.

But with an average weight of six tonnes and an undisclosed price tag, the removal of these massive structures is no mean feat.
