'False promises in my child court battle'

A mother has told the Victoria Derbyshire programme she was left “devastated” after being conned by a man who claimed he could help to get her children back.

Rupinder Randhawa paid thousands to David Bright, who ran the Parents' Voice, London, which provides a Mckenzie friends service - people without legal qualifications who help claimants representing themselves in court.

But he failed to provide the expected help in her court battle, and she did not get custody of her children.

The Victoria Derbyshire programme is broadcast on weekdays between 09:00 and 11:00 on BBC Two and the BBC News channel.
