Low incomes in UK: 'I can't afford kids' meals'

Youth worker Solomon Smith says his salary of £9,000 means he can not afford to pay his rent, bills and children's school meals.

Nearly a third of the population of Britain is living on an "inadequate" income, according to research by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF).

The Victoria Derbyshire programme is broadcast on weekdays between 09:00 and 11:00 on BBC Two and the BBC News channel.
