Hundreds of chicks abandoned in field, says RSPCA

About 1,000 day-old chicks have been abandoned in a field near Crowland, south Lincolnshire, according to the animal charity, the RSPCA.

Many of the chicks are believed to be in good health, although some had died and others had to be put down because of their injuries.
