Alfie Evans' father: 'My son's been sentenced to the death penalty'
Doctors can stop providing life support to toddler Alfie Evans who has a mystery illness against his parents' wishes, the High Court has ruled.
Outside the court, Alfie's father Tom Evans likened the ruling to his son receiving the death penalty.
Both he and Alfie's mother Kate James had hoped to prolong their toddler's life with treatment at a hospital in Rome.
