Theresa May promises £20bn a year extra for the NHS by 2023.

With the NHS celebrating its 70th anniversary next month, Theresa May has told Andrew Marr that the government plans a "birthday present" of billions of pounds in extra health funding.

She said by 2024, the NHS would be getting an extra £600m-a-week.

The PM said the boost will partly be funded by a "Brexit dividend" that will be available once the UK stops its EU payments.
