Barclay: People should do 'as little as possible' at Christmas
Chief Secretary to the Treasury Stephen Barclay has told BBC Breakfast that the government did not want to criminalise people for seeing family over Christmas, but that people should "do the minimum necessary".
His comments came amid warnings a new strain of the virus may be linked to a rise in cases.
No 10 said it would not review plans to allow household mixing over Christmas.
