Pfizer vaccine: 'This way can save more lives'

The health secretary has defended the decision to administer the two doses of the Pfizer vaccination up to 12 weeks apart.

Matt Hancock said that the decision was backed by science.

He added that the first vaccination gives protection against serious disease meaning this method of rollout could save more lives.
