Covid-19: 'Surge in virus expected' - Whitty

England's chief medical officer Prof Chris Whitty says it is likely there will be another surge of the virus in the UK.

Answering questions in the Commons Science and Technology Select Committee, he said:

"As things are opening up, what all the modelling suggests is that at some point we will get a surge in virus."
