PM: 'From Monday 12 April we will move to step two of road map'

The Prime Minister has announced that phase two of the roadmap out of lockdown can go ahead from 12 April.

Speaking at a Downing Street briefing, Boris Johnson confirmed the reopening of some amenities like gyms, shops and hairdressers.

He also confirmed that beer gardens would be allowed to open, but urged the public to remain cautious.
