Parish Priest Kevin Hale says he is "utterly shocked and appalled" by stabbing of Sir David Amess.

The Conservative MP died after being stabbed at his constituency surgery in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex.

Police said a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder after the attack.
