Covid: Commons backs passes for large venues in England

The House of Commons has voted in favour of a Covid pass for large venues in England, by 369 votes to 126.

The move was supported by the Labour leadership, but was opposed by the Liberal Democrats and many Conservative backbenchers.

It means people will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test to enter some venues.
