Tory MP: Voters gave us a kicking in North Shropshire by-election
Conservative Party co-chairman Oliver Dowden has told the BBC that his party received "a kicking" by voters in the North Shropshire by-election.
New MP Helen Morgan secured a majority of 5,925 - on a 34% swing to the Lib Dems, with a turnout of 46.2%. The Conservatives had held the seat for nearly 200 years.
