UK energy bills: We need to adjust to higher prices says Chancellor
Rishi Sunak said the government is committed to helping households following an expected £693 annual rise in household energy prices.
Speaking in the Commons, the Chancellor said that we "need to adjust" to paying higher prices, but that 80% of homes will benefit from a council tax rebate.
Labour says government plans are a "buy now, pay later scheme."
