Rwanda asylum seekers plan should be active in weeks - Andrew Griffith MP
The government plan to send some asylum seekers who arrive in the UK on small boats to live in Rwanda could be implemented in "weeks", according to Conservative MP Andrew Griffith.
Boris Johnson's policy chief in Number 10 says the government's latest plan to tackle migrants doesn't require new legislation, meaning it should be possible to be "implemented and operationalised in weeks or a small number of months."
