Dover traffic: Aerials show scale of queues leading up to port

The Port of Dover declared a "critical incident" due to long queues leading to the ferry terminal.

Passengers have been told to arrive at least six hours before their departure time "to clear all security checks".

It is understood only six of the 12 passport booths run by the French authorities at Dover are currently open.

Chief executive Doug Bannister said the port had been "badly let down" by the French border controls.
