Zelensky: For today, Bakhmut is only in our hearts

At a meeting with US President Joe Biden, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky said that Bakhmut was completely destroyed, saying there was "nothing" left of the city.

"For today, Bakhmut is only in our hearts," he said.

On Saturday, the leader of Russia's Wagner mercenary group said his fighters had taken full control of the eastern Ukrainian city. Ukraine quickly denied the claim.
