250 inmates moved after Doncaster prison riots

More than 250 inmates have been moved to other jails after three nights of rioting at a prison near Doncaster in South Yorkshire.

The violence spread to the adult wing at Moorland prison after two nights of trouble at the young offenders institute on the same site.

No serious injuries are reported among inmates or staff. The Prison Service says it will carry out a review of what has happened.
