Alzheimer's patients can be helped by drug, research finds

Experts at the University of Nottingham have discovered that a dementia drug can help in the later stages of Alzheimer's.

Until now, research has shown people benefit from Aricept if they are in the early and moderate phases of the disease.

Heather Roberts, from Derby, said she is determined to keep taking it throughout her illness.
