Thousands of fish poisoned in the River Nene

Thousands of fish have died after tons of pesticide was washed into the River Nene in Peterborough.

An area of shellfish beds off the North Norfolk coast has closed on the order of the Food Standards Agency because of fears that the pollution could be carried out to sea.
