British Transplant Games opens in Gillingham

One of the largest multi-sport events in the UK with about 500 participants - all of whom have undergone an organ transplant - has begun.

The British Transplant Games opened at Medway Park, in Gillingham, Kent, on Thursday.

All the competitors have undergone a heart, lung or kidney transplant.
