Minister launches £100m A11 dualling project

Work to dual the last stretch of the A11 is now under way after a visit by the roads minister to the site at Elveden in Suffolk.

Transport Minister Stephen Hammond said the £100m scheme was just the start of the investment of roads in the eastern region.

Five new bridges are being built and 50,000 trees and shrubs will be replanted in the £100m project which should be finished by December 2014.
