Proper send off for Olympian 'Cider Frank'

Well-wishers have stepped in to give an Olympian who faced a pauper's burial, a "proper send-off".

Frank Salvat, whose nickname was Cider Frank, represented Great Britain at the Rome Olympics in 1960.

He died in poverty a few weeks go in Hurstpierpoint, Sussex, but nobody claimed his body and he faced having a pauper's burial.

The BBC's Adrian Warner spoke to athletics agent Eric Shirley Jr and Peter Hamson, landlord of the New Inn, where Mr Salvat's wake will be held.
