Bovine TB threat 'increasing' for cows in Britain
Bovine TB has been called the biggest challenge facing Britain's cattle with the number of cases in England rising for the past 25 years.
In 2012, 28,000 animals were slaughtered in England because of the infectious disease and many herds were left in lockdown for several months.
Last month, the government announced a new long-term strategy for the control of bovine TB in England, pulling together various policies, involving the government, the farming industry, vets and scientists.
