Colchester Hospital's Kim Hodgson confident for future
Colchester Hospital's interim chief executive says she thought "long and hard" about taking on the job at the troubled hospital.
A police inquiry began at the hospital in November after a health watchdog found "inaccuracies" with waiting time data relating to cancer treatment.
Seven whistle-blowing investigations are also currently under way at the hospital.
But Kim Hodgson, who has presented her first board meeting at the hospital, said she was optimistic about the hospital's future and is pleased to be in the post.
She spoke with BBC Look East's Gareth George.
