Stonehenge summer solstice unrest in 1989

The summer solstice at Stonehenge in Wiltshire now attracts families and school groups and passes with relatively few problems for the police.

But 25 years ago it was a different story.

In June 1989, 260 travellers who tried to reach the ancient monument were arrested for public order offences.
