Husband and wife spend six years building fighter jet

A couple from Lincolnshire have spent six years rebuilding a Tornado fighter jet which they now plan to sell online.

Former RAF engineers Dave and Leslie Blissett bought the Tornado GR1 as a shell.

The couple have rebuilt the aircraft, which was used in the 1991 Gulf War but now has no guns or engines. The wings have also been removed for transportation purposes.

It has now been put on Gumtree for the price of £20,000.
