Injured cat Buddy takes to water 'like a fish'

An injured cat undergoing hydrotherapy treatment has taken to the water "like a fish", his owner says.

Buddy the Bengal cat was left seriously injured after being hit by a car in April.

"Most cats are normally terrified of water," said Leanne Kent, whose charity Clay County Cat Care has spent more than £2,000 on medical treatment for Buddy.

"It's had a major effect on him - he had a limp in a hind leg but I am amazed how much better he is.

"Fortunately, Bengals like water better than other cats."

Hydrotherapy, normally used for dogs and horses at Hawksland in Wadebridge, was suggested by a vet.
