New Star Wars film to bring Greenham Common to silver screen

A former RAF airbase at Greenham Common is set to make an appearance in the new Star Wars film.

It was revealed the site would be featured in The Force Awakens last year when Matthew Myatt captured images of spacecraft while taking publicity shots for a flying school.

He originally thought his pictures of the Millennium Falcon and an X-Wing fighter were experimental aircraft at the Berkshire airfield.

Series superfan Rory McAllister explained to BBC South Today reporter Ben Moore how the movie's production was cloaked in secrecy.
