Richmond 16: Graffiti gives voice to WW1 objectors

Graffiti drawn on the walls of Richmond Castle 100 years ago tells the story of the men who refused to fight in World War One.

The words and pictures were left by the group who became known as the Richmond 16.

They were held in cells in North Yorkshire before being sent for court-martial in France.

Their case became national news and now £365,400 is being spent to preserve their drawings.
