Skegness Butlin's celebrates 80th year

Butlin's holiday resort in Skegness is celebrating its 80th anniversary.

It was opened in the Lincolnshire resort by leisure entrepreneur Billy Butlin to offer affordable family holidays at a time when travelling abroad was for the privileged.

The attraction is still going strong, with more than a million tourists visiting so far this year.
